Terms and Conditions

The Khartum Shrine Car Raffle ticket price is: Single ticket for $40.00

Only 3,937 tickets will be sold. 

The total retail value of prize is $50,000

All persons participating in the 2021 Khartum Shrine raffle must be a minimum 18 years of age.

By purchasing ticket(s) you confirm you are a resident of Manitoba or currently within the province of Manitoba.

Other Rules:

Each ticket purchase is issued in only one person’s name and prizes will be issued only to the name of the person on the ticket.

The official ticket is a receipt of purchase. It is the responsibility of the purchaser to ensure the mailing address on their ticket(s) is correct and that they receive their ticket(s).

The winning ticket will be randomly selected by hand from a drum at Khartum Shrine Centre, 1155 Wilkes Avenue, Winnipeg Manitoba.

 

Each winner, as a condition of accepting any prize, may be required to sign a declaration and release confirming such winner’s eligibility to participate in the 2021 Khartum Shriners raffle and releasing the organization from all claims which may arise from or in connection with the awarding, receipt, use and/or misuse of any prize awarded.

Tickets can only be purchased online within the Province of Manitoba. All non-residents must purchase tickets in-person at one of the ticket locations.

The Khartum Shrine raffle tickets are non-transferable and non-refundable. Ticket requests will be accepted on a first-come, first-served basis.

 

All payment must be made in Canadian dollars.

 

A ticket is not considered purchased until a verified financial transaction is complete. Ticket request with cheques returned for insufficient funds (NSF) will be automatically voided. Khartum has the right to charge persons $30 to cover NSF administrative costs.

The prize winner will be published online at www.khartumshriners.org by October 23, 2021. If the lottery should sell out before August 26, 2021, prize winner will be published online at www.khartumshriners.org by August 29, 2021. Upon request to the Khartum Shriners office, the name of the winner will be provided.

The 2021 Khartum Shrine raffle purchase(s) are not tax deductible and no charitable donation receipts will be issued, as per Canada Revenue Agency regulations.

Khartum Shriners reserves the right to use the winners’ name and photos in communication, promotional and media materials.

Unclaimed prize becomes property of the Khartum Shriners after a period of sixty (60) days once notification of winning ticket has been sent by mail or by email followed by telephone call.

The prize must be accepted as awarded; some restrictions may apply to prize.

 

Winners may be required to present photo identification in order to claim their prize.

 

Khartum Shriners reserves the right to refuse purchasers.

 

All ticket holders have the right to witness the draw. In the event we are unable to allow the draws to be open to the public due to COVID-19 health restrictions or other restrictions, the draws will be video recorded and available to all ticket holders for viewing on our website at www.khartumshriners.org
