WINNIPEG’S KHARTUM SHRINE CIRCUS 2010
THANK-YOU
So many people have put in long hours to prepare, and there it was “all over” for another year.
First we’d like to thank all of the public that bought tickets and attended the various circus performances of Khartum Shriners in Manitoba and Northwest Ontario. Without you, we wouldn’t be able make these events happen.
We would like to sincerely thank all the volunteers that donated their time to make this circus run smoothly and at this time looks like it will have been a success. We thank all the Units that participated in Spec and all of the Concordant Bodies that had displays and/or items to sell. Thanks to all of the “very special” guest ringmasters who opened the shows and our hospital chairman, Noble Craig Houston for his efforts to make this happen.
Thanks to Wyatt Dowling Insurance Brokers for allowing advance ticket sales at each of their outlets. We look forward to a great Circus year 2011 and will be starting the process to make it an even better event next year.
On Friday, May 14, 2010 the Selkirk Shrine Club presented their circus shows at 5:00 PM and 8:00 PM at the Recreational Complex in Selkirk, MB. and we would take this opportunity to thank all the Nobles, Clubs and Units for their participation in helping to make this year’s Selkirk Circus a resounding success and to all the volunteers, and especially the Ladies, that helped throughout the evening. Your dedication and contribution to our event is greatly appreciated. We are looking forward to presenting the 2011 Circus in Selkirk, MB. Also we would like to thank all volunteers for the Portage La Prairie Circus, especially the Khartum Director’s Staff out of Winnipeg who worked diligently with the Portage Shrine Club to host their Circus on May 17.
Thanks to Circus Producer Cindy Migley who presented some great acts that drew many oooohhs and aaaahhs from the crowds, and the smiles on the children’s faces were beautiful to behold. Special thanks to the 2010 Khartum Shrine Circus committee for their dedication and countless hours of coordination and preparation to make this Shrine Tradition happen.
Last, but not least we thank our Khartum Potentate 2010, Ill. Sir John Czarnecki, Divan members & Khartum Komedians that followed the circus on the Eastern and Northern routes. Thanks also to all the various Khartum Shrine Clubs and volunteers that participated at all those rural circuses & keeping our great tradition alive.
Wishing all of you a great and safe summer!
Again a great big ‘Thank You’ to all! Khartum Shrine Circus Committee 2010 |
